Brief
  • Gynoveda creates premium Ayurvedic products for sensitive women’s health concerns like PCOS, fertility, periods, and weight — often linked to stress and stigma. The challenge was to design a 100+ SKU packaging system that felt both authentically Ayurvedic and emotionally uplifting, while staying compliant with government restrictions.
Design Challenge
The market was dominated by either earthy, low-cost packs or sterile medical looks. We needed a visual language that:
  • → Felt Ayurvedic yet premium
  • → Uplifted consumers spirits while navigating complex health journeys
  • → Avoided banned terms like “periods,” “sleep,” and “weight”
Creative Strategy
  • I led the creation of a unified system adaptable across five categories:
🔴 Menstrual Health
  • Bright, cheerful colors + post-recovery doodles to shift from taboo to transformation
🌿 Wellness
  • Bright tones + feminine Indian patterns (like saree fall)
Clinic Products
  • Clean white for clinical trust and prescription clarity
🧑‍🦰 Men’s Health
  • Dark, minimal design with Ayurvedic symbols
💛 Nutrition & Skin
  • Soft gradients + gold foiling for a lifestyle-Ayurveda appeal
Key Features
  • FOP follows a clear “1 problem, 1 Ayurvedic solution” format
  • Hero herbs, dosage, and usage made easy to read
  • Language aligned with legal & R&D teams to stay compliant
System Thinking
  • Modular layout built to scale 100+ SKUs
  • Category colors, icons, and templates for DTC, clinic, and retail use
  • Gold foiling, Sanskrit-inspired motifs, and clean typography unified the look
My Role
  • Led the end-to-end packaging system - strategy, design direction, compliance, and production — creating a scalable, premium Ayurvedic identity ready for digital and retail platforms.
